Reverse Mortgages (CHIP).

A reverse mortgage is a loan secured against the value of your home – while you continue to own and enjoy living in it! Unlike traditional mortgages, you will not need to make any principal or interest payments until you and your spouse leave the home. A reverse mortgage allows you to access up to 55% of the equity in your home, tax-free. The funds from a reverse mortgage can be paid out in a lump sum or monthly payments, depending what you are trying to do with them. This can be a great option to help add additional funds to your monthly budget, pay off debt or gift to family!
